Open Studios.

Saturday, November 12 & Sunday, November 13

It’s our biggest Open Studios of the year! Come see me and some of your favorite Bridgeport artists at Metro Art Studios with over 40 artists working in a wide variety of disciplines — from painting and sculpture to printmaking and photography, jewelry, mixed media, and so much more!

  • Talk to the artists about their inspiration and techniques.
  • Find art to buy, collect, and gift.
  • Explore the renovated corset factory.
  • Celebrate the renaissance of Bridgeport’s South End neighborhood.

Saturday and Sunday, November 12 and 13, 10 am to 5 pm both days.

Masks are suggested. Parking available in our lot and along Railroad and Myrtle Avenues. Fully ADA accessible.

November 12 & 13: Studios open from 10 am to 5 pm
November 12: Body painting demo with Alicia Cobb from 12 to 4 pm
November 12: Storytelling for young artists with Denise Susalka at 1 pm
November 13: Concert with the Alternate Routes at 2 pm

Subject Matter.
Curated by Miggs Burroughs, this exhibit in Crown Gallery includes art by Sue Benton, Miggs Burroughs, Vince Calenzo, Erica Katz, and Jay Petrow. The disparate work of 5 artists is presented for consideration, discussion, thought, and study. Reception: Saturday, November 12 from 3 to 5 pm. Art shown below by Vince Calenzo.

The Urbane Gift Shop is open! Come by during the @bridgeportarttrail & Open studios. Visit the studios and then stop by the gift shop to check out original small works, prints, hand made jewelry, Metro merch and more.
