Please join us at Metro Art Studios for our first open studios of the year! We have three full floors of professional artists in loft studios. You can tour our historic three-story, award-winning renovated corset factory-turned-art studios for a peek into Bridgeport’s industrial past and its artistic present and future. I hope to see you! Studios are open from 12 – 4 pm.
We will also have a gallery opening reception for Twist and Shout, an exhibit that features six artists whose figures bend, twist, and fracture – communicating what words cannot. The reception runs from 1 – 3 pm. Following the Feminine is an exploration of matriarchal history, myth, and memory—told through layers of collage and hand stitching by Diane Pollak who is our Featured Artist in our hall gallery.
